What a lazy person's book! If you are new to the case and can't read any of the law enforcement's interviews, then get it. Pretty much a cut and past of the good stuff in the discoveries. I wish I had enough of a reputation to do that and get published. Ann Rule she ain't. That may read like it was written by a hater but it is not. The only consolations I have in owning this is it was a gift, and not a dime went to the Anthonys. To soften this review a little, if you want all the important, relevant stuff in one place, it certainly does that. Also, in her defense, she wrote about a subject that no one would be pleased about. Since all of us that follow the travesty, oops I mean case, are bloggers, it's pretty lame. Maybe for the spouse who does not understand why Cindy, George, and Lee give you high blood pressure. Take a plea already and JUST GO AWAY.

This book was great and even though we still do not know what will become of Casey Anthony after her trial this book gives the reader a lot of insight and facts leading up to today. While this story is truly tragic it is something that has effected us all. There are pictures as well as some crime scence pictures and this book as I know of is the only book so far to be written on caylee anthony and this case. I really enjoy reading anything diane fanning writes she is a great true crime writter. I recommend this book to anyone who is interested in this case and who enjoys reading true crime stories such as myself.

The detectives in this case allowed Casey to take the reins. Casey was allowed to be the magician, she was allowed by media to distract with smoke screens . This is particularly embarrassing, because Casey's not a mastermind, Casey was not organized, and she did not cover her tracks well. I'm astonished at how she was able to pull this off. There where searches on the computer not even found by prosecutors or detectives about neck breaking...these searches where at a time no-one else was home. That's sad!
