Great and entertaining book volume 1 of Elminster series. I get to explore and learn more about the world of Dungeons & Dragons Universe and Forgotten Realms too. I can't wait to finish reading the book and added to Goodreads so I can get more recommendations books. Also to be able continue reading other books of Elminster series. 😯😯👍🏽📚🎮

A wonderfully crafted story. You come to empathize with the characters I'm short time and loving the heroes as well as hating the villains as is appropriate. But the real joy is that they are not simple two dimensional characters. There are many traits here lacking in much of modern High Fantasy.

El is a great character....if you know any of forgotten realms lore this is a must read!
