Good story. Loved the first part you could see the love building and the problems she is facing with her family and her job. But after she left Alaska it just jumped so fast from one thing to the next. Could have been so much more.

But..was it? The moment Haley sees Ben,the feelings were sizzling.The chemistry was hot! Too bad Haley is a surrogate for her twin sister Michah. Haley thought she was saying goodbye when she left Alaska.. Sometimes Karma has other ideas. True love knocks on Haley and Ben's door..

It was a super book! Not only could I not put it down until I finished the last page, now I will not be satisfied until I have the whole series!! This was my first book from this author. Kudos to her for further raising our love, awareness, conscience, appreciation and commitment to wildlife and our environment through knowledge, deeper understanding and respect. Very impressive indeed!! Not only that, but many other very difficult family and interpersonal relationships were tackled with compassion and humour. I highly recommend this book --- I thoroughly enjoyed it and cannot wait to start the next one!!! 🐬🐳 🐋🦈

About the author

USA-Today bestselling novelist and playwright Edie Claire was first published in mystery in 1999 by the New American Library division of Penguin Putnam. In 2002 she began publishing award-winning contemporary romances with Warner Books, and in 2008 two of her comedies for the stage were published by Baker’s Plays (now Samuel French). In 2009 she began publishing independently, continuing her original Leigh Koslow Mystery series and adding new works of romantic women’s fiction, young adult fiction, and humor.
