4.5 stars... Not the normal books I would read but I am on book 6 now and it has been a great read, with some real great characters. What makes the characters so great is there is nothing special about them at all. Just regular Joe's put in an UN-regular situation. More then a few times I have spent many hours past my bend time just saying, "one more chapter." From NY to L.A over to Hawaii and Asia this book covers a lot of grounds and a wide range of characters that are not hero's or villains. Just people trying to survive in a crazy new world.

4.5 stars from me, if it was possible. I'm totally hooked on this series, BUT... A few times every chapter I want to reach for a red pen. These are mostly simple word-substitution errors, the kind a spell-checker won't highlight, and the kind a writer can't see in their own work. This author is top-notch, and should become a household name. However, the publishing process that results in these ebooks is letting him down.

Many words: Absolutely loving the series. Attractive characters, quirky flow of words and an addictive storyline.
