From the first chapter Ms. Faber wove a story that held my attention. It may only be a novella, but Ms. Faber packed a lot into it. This is Sierra Hockey player Leo West and Jolie’s story, and it was a wonderful addition to the Sierra Hockey series. Leo comes to the rescue on possibly the worst night of Jolie’s life and I fell hard and fast for his caring, protective and swoon worthy ways. He is the total package. In one night, Jolie lost her boyfriend and best friend.

This was a quick and fun read. I enjoyed Jolie and Leo's journey. Jolie's started off on a bad note, but Leo helped turn it around. Despite past hurts and mistrust, they came to care about each other quickly and deeply. I loved Jolie and how she trusted Leo after only a short bit. Leo was so cute in getting Jolie to come to his games on her own and with the WAGs. A good story, and I highly recommend. I received a copy through 1852 Media, and this is my unsolicited review.

This is a good, quick story with good characters although I thought the ending was a hit rushed.
