Alas, this book was quite dreadful. I am entirely, and sadly, cured of attempting to read any further work by Francesca Lia Block now. Sniffle -- Weetzie Bat was so utterly charming and original, why do some authors decline so precipitously and others (like Terry Pratchett) just get better and better?
