About this ebook

Cryonics is probably the only novel - in any language - which addresses the human attempt to provisionally give up to the imperative of death by incurable disease, with a rational and sustainable hope that one could be back to life after several years preserved in liquid nitrogen.

The book assumes that within a few decades all forms of cancer - and other deadly diseases - may be eliminated and the patient can continue life, hence ending the long freezing “sleep”.

This is fiction, but not science fiction. Taking the form of a novel, impregnated with dialogues of scientific information - in clear language - the author deconstructs all objections of skeptics, who think that science and technology can not go beyond what was already achieved. The eBook edition is available in Portuguese (“Criônicas”) and English (“Cryonics”).
