This latest volume was not as good as some of the other ones previously released. Without getting into details and spoiling the story, the main drawback was too many expositions and a pace that felt rushed and also lacking a satisfying conclusion. The cliffhanger was not the issue here, but rather the execution. it was obvious to me that the author was less confident in closing out the series and his publisher was also reluctant to let him, as evidenced in some weird editorial direction. His earlier volumes tended to have this issue but never to the degree that was present in this volume. It's already a lengthy book in terms of page count, and yet it would have been better to conclude the series quickly rather than drawing it out in a manner that was unsatisfying.

definitely a must read , although a good 2/3 of the book feels like prep work it was still worth reading the interactions that occur throughout the book, and hey the war does at least start in this book and that's better then having to wait til the next book, that being said I can't wait til the next book to come out already, and this book just barely came out a few days ago !! great reading experience nonetheless.
