I've been longing to find out about how Rani lost her wings and this book really quenched my thirst. This also brought new sensation to my whole experience of reading never fairies series. I would have never imagined a never fairies book with such dark elements but it definitely has been a delight to read.

Vidia's attitude completely surprised me, she's way different than she is in the movies. Rani is officially my new favorite fairy, and Prilla is so cute! Poor heart-broken Tink!

I read the book when I was still a kid in sixth grade. It sparked something in me, encouraged me somewhat, despite the lack of such in real life. I love the world this book had painted, and the main character is someone I imagine I could have tea over with.
