Great horror if rather too gory for me. I've never read a book that gave such DETAIL and made me feel physically sick. Cracking story of essentially a coven of witches, but each practicing different forms of black magic, which gives an overwhelming strength to their group & as individuals. They back the bad guys & pulverise the good in increasingly gory detailed ways. It's certainly a page turner, but the ending felt a bit rushed or it would be 5*'s. Keep a sick bowl handy when you're reading it.

Great read shame about the ending.... hopefully a second one to come 😊

Read this in one go could not put it down how it ended there has to be one that follows

About the author

Graham Masterton is a prolific, acclaimed and highly popular horror, crime and thriller author.

He has won many awards, including a Special Edgar Award from the Mystery Writers of America and a Silver Medal from the West Coast Review of Books. He is also the only non-French winner of the prestigious Prix Julia Verlanger. His first novel The Manitou was published in 1976 and was adapted to film in 1978. He hasn't stopped writing since.
