It's a decent start to a series that I obsessively followed. (Would still be following, but the final book of the series was released recently). The book didn't wow me when I read it, but they become exponentially better the further along in the series you go. The last book was better than the vast majority of authors could ever hope to be.

Well written, with good plot twists. A strong female protagonist who has a big mouth and lots of talent, but still gets in way over her head.

A great start to a series that is an amazing journey. Introduces to Kate, an amazing woman with tons of secrets, who worked to find out who and why her guardian was killed. Amazing characters and story that sucked me in and kept me reading to the end.
