I've missed the world of Kate and Curran so very much! Thank you both for another fantastic read! I was a bit worried that picking up the story after years have passed and leaving Atlanta I would've missed the side characters I've come to know through the series but I gotta say, I absolutely did not. I loved the growth I saw in Kate and Curran's relationship, having his POV is great! I'm very much looking forward to what they plan to build in the future. Keep em coming!! Thank you❤️

All the feels. Words escape me! Kate and Curran are approached by a canny local businessman to help rescue a small town in the forest which is being terrorised by some mysterious creatures which appear to demand human tribute. What they find in the forest defies description, just when you think Ilona Andrews can't pull something new and different out of the bag, BOOM they did it! And OMG the vampire piloting had me in stitches. More interesting are the decisions that open up the series now.

So much fun! I love this series and these small windows into Kate and Curran's lives after the main series is an appreciated gift from the authors. I mean, there are prehistoric lions, tigers and bears! (Oh My!).
