Ou du moins, c’est ce que je pensais.
Et puis, je l’ai rencontrée. C’est amusant comme tout peut changer en un clin d’œil. Comme une erreur d’identité peut tout changer. Et pourtant, elle était là, professionnelle et pas du tout intéressée. Et moi, je l’ai instantanément voulue. Désirée.
Par-dessus tout, j’ai souhaité l’aider. La protéger, elle et sa sœur. Mais plus j’apprends à la connaître, plus j’ai envie d’elle. La totale. Je veux la femme et tout ce qui vient avec.
Et le miracle, c’est qu’elle me désire, elle aussi.
Le problème, en revanche, c’est que nous avons déjà été échaudés tous les deux. Maintenant, une chose est certaine – le seul moyen de survivre à la chaleur qui crépite entre nous, c’est de trouver le courage de se jeter ensemble dans le brasier.
