This captivating book is life changing. It literally has changed my life, woke me up to the very real, very disturbing fact that slavery still exists in this day and age. That there are people who have had EVERYTHING taken from them, things that no man or woman should ever take from another. It pains me to say that I lived in ignorant bliss, but not anymore. 4 years ago I got Sempre tattooed on me, to remind myself constantly. This book will change your view on the world, or at least open your eyes.

Loved Loved this book! Between the love story and the cold truth of real life mafiosos this book should have been sold for more $$$ I would have paid full price!! Can't wait to read book 2!

I loved this book, I couldn't stop reading it. Full of twists that you don't see coming. It's a modern day Romeo and Juliet. I absolutely recommend this book
