I loved the story behind why Jacqueline wrote this book.. One of JW's best books! The way she made Marigold such a comlex character was absolutely spectacular.

This was exhausting to read, in the best way. I was exhausted reading it because I was feeling Dolphin's exhaustion at having to take care of her mother when her mother should have been taking care of her. I was exhausted because I was feeling Dolphin's exhaustion at having to try to predict her mom's moods and work around them. And what darkly accurate moods they were! I especially loved the way the author showed the creativity that can come with mania.

The best part is the epilogue. Every book of Jacqueline Wilson has such meaning which makes you want to read all of her books!! I went to her book signing in Manchester two days ago and I must tell you this: She is THE best writer ever!!!
