James Patterson has always been my favorite author. I have read every single one of his mystery novels and have upcoming releases stored in my calendar. However, this was a good book, I feel like his novels are becoming more predictable. I knew who the killer was by the time I finished the prologue. and although the book ended on what some may see as exciting or a shock - finally discovering the truth about who "M" is - but I predicted that revaluation throughout reading the previous Alex Cross novel, "Fear No Evil". However, I will keep reading and hopefully will not be disappointed again the. next time

I have read James Patterson's novels since my senior year of high school. They were thrilling. They were awesome reads and I couldn't wait for the next exciting installment. Now his novels just clunk along with little excitement or thrills. This, like his other series, Women's Murder Club, have just run out of steam. Too bad.
