this book was amazing! deep, rich writing. Even though I really like all of James Rollins' books, this was a refreshing change from his normal writing style. amazing character development, and world building.. keep it up, sir!!

There's world building and then there's droning on and on and on, like this book. Needlessly wordy and overly descriptive. Only those that enjoy slogging though GRRM or Brandan Sanderson "novels" will enjoy this.
