I love this book so much. OH. MY. GOSH! If anyone tried to bother me while i was reading this book they would realize what they were making me miss (valuable time to read). This is one of the best books I have read, by far. It expresses the true meaning of Romance/love. Reading how thorough each character's feelings were laid out, was an exceptional job well done by the author! This book makes me want to have my own special "Brogan Starr". This book deserves 20 stars and the "Best Romance Novel" award!

I loved the story line of the book, I couldn't put it down until I read the whole thing in a few hours.... but I was very disappointed with the hot and heavy parts of the book....there was none. I expected hot and heavy push me against a wall and have your way with me kinda sex...but nothing. Still liked the book, but wished it had more passion.

The Rule Book by Jennifer Blackwood is the first book in her new series The Rule Breakers. This is a romance that will have you laughing out loud AND growling in frustration throughout. Told from Lainey's POV, which is hilarious BTW, we join her in her new job at Starr Media and meet her new boss (AKA The Antichrist), and her new co-workers (Some nice, some NOT), and learn about her awesome bestie and roommate and her wonderfully strong mother. With one mishap after another this story was engaging and surprising and wonderfully romantic. The build up between Lainey and Brogan (love the name) is exquisite and the happy ever after is worth the journey. Love this authors works to date and this is no exception.

Jennifer Blackwood is an English teacher and contemporary romance author. She lives in Oregon with her husband, son, and poorly behaved black lab puppy. When she isn’t writing or teaching, she’s binging on Veronica Mars episodes and white cheddar popcorn.
