I'm an avid reader of prehistoric fiction. Many times i have become bored with stories, or have the ability to guess correctly the outcome, thus rendering the read less satisfying ,less exciting. Not so with this book by author Joan Wolf! I was actually not prepared to find I had come to the last page! Most reads, I give up far before the halfway mark. In essence, it was a finely crafted story...and I thoroughly enjoyed every page!

Joan Wolf is a USA TODAY bestselling American writer, whose acclaimed Regency romances have earned her national recognition as a master of the genre. Her many historical and contemporary romances, some of which have been chosen as Literary Guild selections, have been highly praised by reviewers and authors alike.Joan was born in 1951 and she grew up in the Bronx, New York.
