But be warned: the story doesn't really end, so if you were expecting a final wrap-up, which would have been nice, you aren't going to get one. There is clearly another series awaiting future sales.

Great finish to the series. Hope there will be a new one to continue through the years in the county. Killed me the when I found out Alice's betrayal. I knew it had to be big but still I felt for Tom

A wonderfully told story. the entire series is amazing. but this however is not the last book. the story continues in "A new darkness". be warned, these tales are not to be read after dark.

He is a former English teacher who lives in the heart of boggart territory in Lancashire, England. His village has a boggart called the Hall Knocker, which was laid to rest under the step of a house near the church.
