About this ebook

He’s a cop trying to stop a serial bomber. And she’ll stop at nothing to clear her own name.

When a deadly bomb goes off during a climate change debate, librarian and event coordinator Jackie Santoro becomes the prime suspect. Her motive, according to Detective Avery Wick: to avenge the suicide of her prominent father, who was accused of crimes by a city councilman attending the event.

Though Avery has doubts about Jackie’s guilt, he can’t exonerate her even after an extremist group takes responsibility for the bombing and continues to attack San Antonio’s treasured public spaces.

As Jackie tries to hold her shattered family together, she has no choice but to proceed with plans for the Caterina Ball, the library system’s biggest annual fundraiser. But she also fears the event provides the perfect opportunity for the bomber to strike again.

Despite their mistrust, Jackie and Avery join forces to unmask the truth—before the death toll mounts even higher.

Bestseller Kelly Irvin is back with a nail-biting romantic suspense where nothing is certain until the very last page.

HER EVERY MOVE. ....Kelly Irwin Estrella loved politics and keeping them on time for their agendas. While Jackie’s coordinator for there special events for the speakers, the planning was the spice of the job she loved. Someone planted a bomb in a crowded auditorium., now Jackie being accused it was her fault. Catering Ball is her next event a fund raiser, is there a serial bomber going to hit it. Still struggling with her father’s suicide and her mother.. She wants to clear her name. We have. Detective Avery watching her every move as a person of interest. Good characters showing the struggles both are dealing with as well as their jobs. Good flowing plot, and to figure out what is happening. Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.from Net Galley and Thomas Nelson

Her Every Move By Kelly Irvin For more than a year Jackie Santoro has lived under the cloud of her father's crimes. Crimes that have moved Jackie to the top of the list of suspects when a bomber targets San Antonio and the very people who accused him. Detective Avery Wick has a feeling about Jackie but he needs evidence not just a gut feeling to remove her from the person of interest list. Though she is on his personal person of interest list. Regardless, someone has San Antonio in their sights. As the clock runs down on the bomber's demands Jackie isn't about to wait around doing nothing. She's going to do everything she can to help the police discover who has targeted her city, clear her name, and get justice for those whom the bomber stole from her. What she doesn't know is just how close the bomber is to his ultimate goal... Her Every Move is another page-turner, ripped-from-the-headlines, unputdownable read from Kelly Irvin. Each new Romantic Suspense she releases is excellent reading. Yes, there are crimes but her work doesn't get into the gross-me-out graphic descriptions that some authors offer in abundance. (Which, I might add, I appreciate as I steer away from graphic anything.) The cover teaser "The Clock Is Ticking And He's Closing In" is the perfect summary of this book. And throughout it does seem as if the bomber is targeting Jackie or she is in fact the perfect devious mind while carrying out revenge on the city and those who tried and convicted her father in the court of public opinion. If you are unfamiliar with Kelly Irwin's Contemporary Suspense you should give this book a try as it complete in and of itself. If you are familiar with her work you won't be disappointed in this newest addition to her bookshelf . I was provided a complimentary copy of this book with no expectations but that I offer my honest opinion. All thoughts expressed are my own.

I really liked this thriller set in San Antonio about domestic terrorism. It's a romantic suspense in some ways but the romance is light, in my opinion. Jackie is a librarian who likes to push the envelope somewhat and sets up a climate change discussion at the library. A bomb goes off and therein begins a reign of terror as the bomber terrorizes San Antonio until his/her demands are met. Detective Avery Wick and a host of other law enforcement people are going to solve the case but they first focus on Jackie & her family members. Jackie is determined to prove them wrong, even though she happens to be involved with each bombing in some way - coincidence? I liked Jackie and Avery's back & forth personality together! They were adversarial and also friendly & romantic at times! It made for a good read. Then there was Avery's friend, Theo, who was super frustrating! He was so out of control and Avery did everything he could for the man! I wanted to shake him good!!! A great story that had me turning the pages faster and faster to see how it ended!
