About this ebook

With the fate of the Wild Ridge Bears hanging in the balance, can Bo find his true mate before it’s too late?

Bo Calvin is running out of time. As one of the last two Alpha bear shifters on Wild Ridge without a mate, he’s facing madness and certain death. When he finds Oona trespassing on Calvin lands, his attraction to her hits him like a thunder bolt. She’s fierce and beautiful like some Amazonian goddess. But, another Alpha has already made a claim for her. Bo knows she’s meant for him, but acting on it could lead to an all-out clan war.

Oona Ryan has a secret. She’s spent her whole life thinking she’s got a monster inside of her. Because of it, she’s lost her family and her home. A cryptic letter from her dying mother leads her to Wild Ridge in search of answers. What she finds instead turns her world upside down and reveals a shocking betrayal.  Being among a group of virile bears calls to Oona’s nature in ways she never expected. One stolen kiss from Bo Calvin brings out her own, ancient primal power. But, her attraction to him comes with a price and her presence on the ridge leads the clans to the brink of civil war.

As sorry as I am for this series to end, it is a fitting final story not to be missed. Oona buried her mother. That should have made it the worst day of her life. It had. Leave it to her sister and brother to add to her pain. She was to leave the only home she'd ever had with next to nothing. She'd take with her news that would have devestated her without the death and eviction. News that led her to Wild Ridge. Bo Calvin and Trevor Scott, both alpha werebears, both mine owners, and the last two alphas on the mountain to find their mates. The time was short before one or both succumbed to mate fever if they didn't find their mate soon. In this world, not just any human woman could successfully mate with an alpha and there were few female werebears. Yet both men were drawn to Oona when they ran across her in the woods. So begins the quest for love and answers for all three—or does one know more? This series sets up a unique heirachy and life for shifters. The men are big sexy alpha males living in a world where strength and power hold their place. Each alpha owns a section of land with a copper mine and crew. The alpha leaders maintain a strict code. If Oona is drawn to these men, who will she choose? Is she strong enough to be an alpha's mate? The truth will change the lives of everyone on the ridge. Watching Oona come into her own is special. The questions answered the positions taken, the bloodshed, the steam, and love found will take you along with the Bears of Wild Ridge. New relationships will be made and new friends with each story in the series can stand alone and each has a satisfactory ending. Enjoy one or all. As for me, I'm putting the whole series on my TBRA (to-be-read-again) list. This is a strong recommend from me. I voluntarily reviewed this advanced reader copy and I have not been compensated in any way.

The story of Oona and Bo is a good afternoon read with enough tension and erotica to need to cool off before dinner. 3.75 stars

Title:  Last of the Bears   Series: Wild Ridge Bears Release Date: #AlreadyReleased Author: Kimber White Reviewer: Ingrid Stephanie Jordan Genre: #PRN #BearShifter  #5Stars☆☆☆☆☆ ••••••••••••••••• I'm not sure I'm happy that it's over I mean it really was good I loved it and it all King together but I'm going to miss those Wild Ridge Bears, Ms. Kimber gave us something to love, be a part of, yes I think  everyone will love this book, definitely the series.      Oona Ryan is a Bear Shifter, though she doesn't know it yet, living for twenty years in Seneca Lake, New York at the Ryan Castle and Winery, she was happy, she did work her mother insistent yet still Oona was scared, she couldn't let it out she didn't want nobody to know what she was. Dr. Maura Neely gave her pills that we're helping but she was so scared, for that reason alone she hardly left home. When her mother died, the day of her funeral there lawyer, Bradley Lauer, read the Will. Everybody was there her step-sister Hannah her husband Stewart and Hannah's twin Cormac. It's always been quite obvious Hannah hated Oona and her twin just went along with it, she blamed her for her father's death. What happened during the reading was the worst thing of Oona life or maybe it was the best, Hannah was kicking Oona out because she said they were being more than generous to her after all she wasn't family, she's adopted. Bradley gave Oona a letter her mother wrote her letting her know that she may  not be the child from her womb but she was the child of her heart she loved her very much. So Hannah and Cormac become the co-successor trustees.      Trevor Scott and Bo Calvin were Bear Shifters, on Wild Ridge, in fact they were the only two who didn't have a mate, talk about being scared they were going to get mate sickness. At the creek Bo & Trevor smelt something they started running, ran right into Oona they knew she was human, this was private property why was she here. Bo realized that she was camping on his property but he went ahead and told her she could that she was safe there nobody would hurt her. Bo knew Oona was not his a Anam Cara in fact he didn't even think she was anyone's Anam Cara, she was something else but what? Then a meeting was called at the“Longhouse". Bo couldn't believe that when he got there all the other Alphas were present waiting for him. Then Trevor started spewing words that were lies every one of them he said he's placing a claim on the girl because she was his Anam Cara, this meant if Bo touched her, he could be banished.      A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book and my comments here are my honest opinion.

About the author

As a civil lawyer, I spent many, many years writing complex legal briefs for unappreciative bosses. To keep from stabbing myself (or them) in the eye with a fork during all of that, I also started writing down the stories in my head. All on my own time, of course ;) Turns out, I'm a sucker for hot, alpha male shifters and kickass heroines.

Now, I've thrown away my shingle (er - more like burned it in a fire pit) so I can devote my time to bringing you sizzling, erotic, paranormal romance stories. If you like hunky, bad boy shifters, women who know what they want in and out of the bedroom, panty-melting sex scenes, and edge of your seat suspense, I've got you covered! We'll put the rahr in erotic romance (okay, okay, that sounded better in my head).
