Reading this book after the entire Anita Blake series, I like that it is an exciting book from the beginning. I also like that there are some similarities to both of the main characters in both series but I still feel like I am reading something totally different and new.

I really love this series and getting to know more about the characters and how they came to be with the princess is great. I read the books out of order, but I still enjoyed them all.

I just don't get what the big deal is people if u read romance there is sex this is no different I read the entire series and I thought it was great, it only gets better with each book laurell has an amazing imagination this is one of my favorite series everyone who rated it as one star is basing it solely off the sex scenes which are different then usual in a good way!!!
