A very enjoyable positive tale about a recent widow starting a boarding house from scratch in an English village. We meet many interesting and varied characters and her children and their personal trials and tribulations are also well-written and enjoyable. This is a light Christian tale that addresses a variety of issues lightly, positively but realistically and the author steers clear of pretending that she has all the answers.

Thanks, for a great book of how God can move us painfully on to a new, but better, life if we'll let Him. This book did a great job of doing just that. Thanks

It isn't often a book speaks to my soul. This lovely story is woven with scripture and the events in the characters lives that spoke to me. Tears bring healing. A book I will treasure.
