About this ebook

#1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER ā€¢ Donā€™t miss the hit streaming series Reacher!Ā

Jack Reacher is back! The ā€œutterly addictiveā€ (The New York Times) series continues as acclaimed author Lee Child teams up with his brother, Andrew Child, fellow thriller writer extraordinaire.

ā€œOne of the many great things about Jack Reacher is that heā€™s larger than life while remaining relatable and believable. The Sentinel shows that two Childs are even better than one.ā€ā€”James Patterson

As always, Reacher has no particular place to go, and all the time in the world to get there. One morning he ends up in a town near Pleasantville, Tennessee.

But thereā€™s nothing pleasant about the place.

In broad daylight Reacher spots a hapless soul walking into an ambush. ā€œIt was four against oneā€Ā .Ā .Ā . so Reacher intervenes, with his own trademark brand of conflict resolution.

The man he saves is Rusty Rutherford, an unassuming IT manager, recently fired after a cyberattack locked up the townā€™s data, records, informationĀ .Ā .Ā . and secrets. Rutherford wants to stay put, look innocent, and clear his name.

Reacher is intrigued. Thereā€™s more to the story. The bad guys who jumped Rutherford are part of something serious and deadly, involving a conspiracy, a cover-up, and murderā€”all centered on a mousy little guy in a coffee-stained shirt who has no idea what heā€™s up against.

Rule one: if you donā€™t know the trouble youā€™re in, keep Reacher by your side.

This was a perfect book with a perfect plot, story and set of characters. It started out hilariously by showing it's audience who Jack Reacher was and continued by slowly and masterfully unraveling clues to the mystery. The details and descriptions of the setting and story were written beautifully. Every step along the journey of discovering the mystery of the small town was intriguing and awesome. Show much information about technology, history and physiology was conveyed through the plot and story alone. Jack Reacher was one of the most hilariously witting and kind characters to have ever been written. Each scene he was in was perfect and made the story better. The last chapter every tied together every thread in a most humorous manner. It was an undeniably funny book from the start to the end.
