Most excellent series! I am only confused about one aspect. I thought Turgonians were black because the racial slur that Kei uses for them is ape or gorilla. I thought Dak was this huge black guy, but I think after finishing the series, that he is a huge tan guy? Wouldn't mind a firm answer on this, since Puntak or slant eyes are the obvious racial slurs for Nurians. I became confused once the Turgonian spies were described as 'olive skinned'. (Which never made sense to me as a reader, as olives are green or black but are normally used to denote tan.) Grand, with romance I didn't expect. I am really happy that any drama that is normally added to relationships was thankfully not added to this series. Minor swearing but thankfully nothing egregious. Science becomes termed as Magic, which makes more sense I guess.

I've loved these books since they first came out. A hero who doesn't realize he's the hero, or that he has tremendous power. Snarky friends to keep him grounded, and a foul mouthed animal. The whole series is now available in a complete bundle, four books for the price of one!

great read. Wasn't oversexed as many books in I have read in this area of books in a while. I just discovered this series and I like it nice to read a book without being relogated to bikers and the mob.
