This novel is so overlooked, but it's so good. I read it in 6th grade and I still have trouble turning away from it now as I did then. There were no digital copies in 1998 but I enjoy hardback more. But reading it in any format it's still a wonderfully written novel. So much so I'll read it to my daughter's and stepson soon.
