About the author

Lori Harris has always enjoyed competition. She grew up in southern Ohio, showing Arabian horses and Great Danes. After relocating to Florida years later, she became interested in competitive shooting, traveling as far as Traverse City, Michigan, to compete in the Second Chance Combat Shoot. She would be competing today if she hadn't discovered how much fun it was to write. And how challenging. Romantic suspense seemed a natural fit. "Because what could be more exciting than a life-and-death competition that includes a sexy, strong man?"
