Her beauty, faith and fierce independence. In spite of himself, Ethan finds that he can’t keep his feelings at bay. Soon, he’s willing to risk everything—including his heart—to lay the silent terror stalking Marianna to rest.

I enjoyed the addition of deaf culture which has always been an interest of mine. Lynette Eason has a easy flow writing style but I found the plot line didn't unravel with any finesse. it felt a bit rushed and thrown together in the end. no unpredictable plot twists and the whodunnit was fairly predictable. I still enjoyed the book.
