Edward Graham
First in Series Cozy on Cape Cod This is a very good mystery. It is the first in a series from back in 2018, but I have just now read it. The mystery is good, but as with all cozies, the clues just drop into the hands of the amateur sleuths as they break the crime wide open. Unlike some cozies, this one does not drown the reader in details or swamp the reader with one main thing. Our heroine runs a bicycle rental shop, her beau is a baker, her best friend is a candy maker, her Dad is a pastor and her mom is an astrologist. Now that is all over the map! The only reason that I do not read more from this author or her alter ego, Edith Maxwell, is that she just has to get on her soapbox about something in every book. It was not too bad this time, she got her rant out in one paragraph. There have been books where her spiel becomes woven into the fabric of the story. I won this print copy at a FaceBook party some time ago. I recommend this book to all who enjoy 'soft' mysteries.
