Each author brings there own take to shifters some of them you want to read me where others yoi want to leave alone but all and all there is something for every shifter loving reader in this series

This is a fantastic group of authors providing some exceptional reads. A few examples are: MICHELLE PILLOW'S THE MIGHTY HUNTER: About two pages in I knew I was going to love this one--I did. Ms. Pillow engages you with her characters immediately. Bridget was a wanna be scientist of the abyss. She was paying her dues to get a chance to sign on to a real scientific crew when she is suddenly thrown overboard and drawn into the impossible. She's going to get her chance at seeing the abyss and it's sea life, if only she will believe where she is and who she is with. Hard to get past the gorgeous, hunky guy that makes her want to do things she's never done before--really want to do them. Just when you think she may start to accept, her prove-it-to-me nature pushes forward. Poor Caderyn, he rescued her so he is her guardian, and what she inspires requires someone to protect her from Caderyn. The world created is one that baffles Bridget. The author does a wonderful job of bringing that world to the reader through Bridget's eyes. I enjoyed that much of the misunderstanding stemmed from the total differences and taking for granted she understood when of course she did not. That is how real people behave. The understanding new and different living situation comes mostly from time. The steam created by these two could reach the surface. Learning about each other and watching them push their intimate boundaries required cold drinks and a fan.  While this is a stand-alone, it is part one of a series you will want to read. TASHA BLACK'S 300 SERIES: BAKE THIS:  The Harkness farm is home to displaced shifter children born to non shifter families.  They don't know how to deal with these special children.  Mom does, along with the help of a witch who casts a spell on each to help them adjust--for 300 moons.   Tess is a witch with magic, however, using that magic demands a price. She rarely uses it for that reason. Forced to join her sister with her new fiance's family is stressful. Her sister is like so many matched people, they find it their duty to match up their loved ones. Tess doesn't want to be matched, even if the guy is cute. Tess isn't nearly as disappointed as her sister is when the man gets called away. Now Tess can quietly moon over the brother of her sister's intended. Will too is quiet, yet follows Tess and witnesses her disastrous attempts to help. As quiet as he is, when the chance arises he shows Tess that being quiet doesn't mean shy. He wants her and uses her concerns over the mistakes to find out how she feels. While there is still time before his 300th moon, he has a preview of the future, which endangers the family. Can Tess and Will team up to protect the family? The comedy of errors and the surprise price Tess must pay is cute yet a very important part of this romance. It is a short read, yet touching, funny, hot, and one not to miss. It may be months till Christmas, however, I dare you to read this and walk away without feeling like a warm Christmas morning. V VAUGHN'S: CALLED BY THE BEAR 1: A great start to the series. Lots of questions just kept pulling me in. V. Vaughn is a favorite author to me. The relationship between these two sisters from different mothers is fun. One is far more daring, the other far stronger. They are great for each other and forge into their new adventure traveling across the country.  They are called by something.  They have dreams, about bears.  When they arrive they will in for quite an opportunity involving some very hot guys and wonderful opportunities.  It will change their lives forever. MANDY ROTH'S: PISCES PHENOMENON: Phoebe's world has become a dangerous place. What the media calls the Zodiac Zone Abductions, are taking place all around her and the abductors promise more to come.   Sirius is a detective and immortal warrior protecting humans. He also has a connection as more than a protector to Phoebe. When she is about to become the victim of the abductors, Sirius steps in.lt.  They have a connection, she has some magic, how does that connect?

I didn't like some of them, but this is worth the price. I'll be looking for some of these authors again.
