This book is fun and funny. Fiona has been crushing on the hot guy in her building, right up until she actually met him. Jake has been tasked to help prepare her to give an award acceptance speech, but is concerned she could be his first failure. The the characters are likable and engaging, and what follows is a fun rom-com that kept me smiling and entertained until the very last page. This one is a must read for fans of the genre. The author is on my must read authors' list.

This is a laugh out loud romantic comedy! Fiona is an endearing character. She's a complete introvert much more comfortable with her dogs and animals at work than people. But she's got a fabulous sense of humor. Jake is hired to coach her on making a public speech. That's when the fun begins! The story does great at stressing how important it is to not make snap judgements about people. I enjoyed this book from the first to the last page.
