OMG. OMG OMG OMG. If the cliffhanger at the end of Ruthless King was something, the cliffhanger at the end of Defiant Queen is everything. I’m going to die waiting for the conclusion of this series. Seriously. This is like season finale of Lost and now I have to wait all summer type levels of cliffhanger angst. But it’s so good. It’s the cliffhanger I need even if it’s also one I dread. Defiant Queen just took all the glorious angst and anger and passion and grit and joy and lust and feeling in Ruthless King and multiplied it by a thousand percent. Lachlan Mount is complicated and bad to the bone and yet there’s this curious vulnerability that makes him so undeniably compelling. He does all these terrible, very bad, no good things and still you root for him. Keira and Mount are starting to let down their walls and the potential that bubbles up between them is almost too perfect to behold. You ache for them when they are in a room together, because what they feel and how they think they need to protect themselves keeps them at cross purposes. But it’s not frustrating at all. You just crave more time with them. Because together they could be everything. The icing on the cake: there’s a cameo by one of Meghan’s other alpha male characters that is utterly delicious. It’s the best little insider treat. And now I’m going back to dying for Sinful Empire. Dying. **Defiant Queen will publish on November 14, 2017. After the dramatic conclusion of Ruthless King, Defiant Queen takes the reader back, way back, for a glimpse into some of the events that set Lachlan mount on the path to being the man we've come to know. Then jumping forward in time to just before those climactic events, it picks up the story from Mount's point of view. Exploring how the revelations and fallout from those last few pages result in a seismic shift in the relationship between Mount and his erstwhile debtor/slave/concubine/antagonist Keira Kilgore. Though certainly atypical, their relationship evolves as each interaction prompts subtle, yet simultaneously monumental changes in both of them as the narrative explores each of their separate lives deeper, and reveals how those changes manifest themselves. Continuing to build the drama and the tension, Megan March doesn't disappoint and will no doubt have readers salivating for the release of the third and final installment. I know I can't wait.

Ahhh, Defiant Queen...I was and am completely taken with Lachlan f****ng Mount! The way he seems to take control of not just Keira but every situation is honest to god, a HUGE turn on! Everything was...HOTTER, DIRTIER, SEXIER in the second book in the Mount Trilogy. And the cliffhanger at the end...I thought my heart was going to BURST out of my chest and I am telling you, It felt like I was on the edge of a cliff with this ending. Lets talk now about the INCREDIBLE HOT factor in this book. The sex was SCORCHING...POTENT...EXHILARATING! NOBODY does SIZZLING, HOT SEX SCENES LIKE MEGHAN MARCH! Seriously, its some of the BEST sex scenes you can imagine. Sizzling HOT, Passionate, and will no doubt leave you absolutely BEGGING for more. Not only is the sex hot, we get something...new and special going on with Lachlan and his feelings that will in no doubt make you have a softer feel for him..it will make you LOVE him even more. This is some incredible stuff and is easily a NUMBER 1 trilogy of the YEAR and I HIGHLY recommend people pick these books up. Defiant Queen gets a MOUTH-WATERING FIVE SHOOTING STARS! I am just going to be over in the corner, rocking myself as I wait IMPATIENTLY for Sinful Empire!
