Murat Kaplan is an academician, author and award winning martial artist.
Completing his BA degree in the field of English Language and Literature, Kaplan did two MA degrees, first in the field of language teaching, the second English literature.
Defended his Ph.D. dissertation in the field of Language Teaching and Pedagogics. Studied NLP and communication.
Throughout his over 40-year- long traditional Chinese martial arts trainings, he has studied TCM, Chinese face-reading, crisis management and body language, about which he has been delivering lectures, seminars and conferences for over 20 years.
Following his major studies in the field of language and literature, he completed a psychology diploma program; and currently he studies sociology and clinical psychology.
Kaplan gave two speeches at TEDx Conferences.
Published over 10 academic books in English, Russian and Kazakh languages, and two books on mindfulness and personal growth in Turkish.
Has been writing articles on mindfulness as a columnist at different magazines and newspapers.
Kaplan trains leaders of prestigious companies and institutions using the martial arts and mindfulness principles.
Kaplan is fluent in English, Russian, Kazakh and Polish languages. He also speaks German at a daily conversational level.
