About the author

Nicholas Longridge graduated from the University of Liverpool with a BSc (Hons) in Anatomy & Human Biology (2008) and followed this with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery with honours in 2013. He is currently an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow in Endodontics within the North West Deanery and is completing a doctorate of dental science (DDSc) in Endodontics through the University of Liverpool. He is a member of the faculty of dental surgery with the royal college of surgeons of Edinburgh. Peter Clarke was award a Bachelors in Dental Surgery with honours from Liverpool University in 2011. Currently he is working as a Specialty Registrar in Restorative Dentistry at Manchester University Dental Hospital, where he regularly participates in undergraduate examinations and interviews, as well as co-ordinating the dental core trainees seminar programme.
