Like all of the Mercy Thompson series I loved it. I rarely reread books but I have read this series to many times to count. Although there was loads of things that I believed should have been given in more detail. Like the issues with fae, and what happened with the wolves that killed the man. Hopefully the next book will go into those things. But overall this book made the union of Mercy an Adam more real.

Really short book. Saddened by the overal plot direction. Does everything have to do with vampires in Mercy's world? I hope when/if Adam and her have a child the name him Peter in tribute.

Love the characters, love the story, but it just seemed way too short and very rushed. The end was choppy. Not as good as the rest of the books in the series
