About this ebook

Yellowstone Romance Series, Book 1

Nurse and avid backpacker Aimee Donovan is offered the opportunity of a lifetime. She encounters a patient who tells her he can send her two hundred years into the past to spend three months in the rugged Yellowstone wilderness at the dawn of the mountain man era. The only requirement: she cannot tell anyone that she’s from the future.

How did a white woman suddenly appear in the remote Rocky Mountain wilderness? Trapper Daniel Osborne’s first instinct is to protect this mysterious and unconventional woman from the harsh realities of his mountains. While he fights his growing attraction to her, he is left frustrated by her lies and secrecy.

Daniel shows Aimee a side of Yellowstone she’s never experienced. She is torn between her feelings for him, and exposing a secret that will destroy everything he holds as truth. As her three months come to an end, she is faced with a dilemma: return to her own time, or stay with the man who opened her eyes to a whole new world. When the decision is made for her, both their lives will be changed forever.

Oh my what an epic story! I have had this book in my library for a long time and can't understand why I only read it now! One of the best Western historical romance/time travel books ever. I adored Daniel and Aimee and cannot wait to read more about their descendants.

This was my first read by Peggy L. Henderson and I find myself returning to it again and again. The rugged splendor of Yellowstone country is brilliantly described in this novel and totally enhances Ms. Henderson's depiction of a trapper's life in the early 19th century. Aimee and Daniel's story is one for the ages with a love that transcends all boundaries, including time.

10 out of 10! One of the best books I have read in a long time! I loved the relationship between Daniel and Aimee, it was so realistic and I felt as if I was almost in the story with them. I've never been to Yellowstone and now I have the desire to go on a backpacking trip through the park (of course I've done hiking trips before) But seriously I would recommend this book to anyone!:)

I never thought I'd be a writer, much less publish a book someday. I always wanted to be a veterinarian. I guess life just had other plans for me. When my husband and I decided to start a family, vet school pretty much went out the window. I used to work with a vet who had three children while going through vet school. To this day, she is my hero.

I'm married to my high school sweetheart, and together with our two sons, we make our home in Southern California. Our family also includes a Labrador Retriever, a welsh pony, a miniature horse, three cats, four bearded dragons, and a flock of laying hens. Almost every summer since my husband and I graduated from high school, we spend two weeks camping in Yellowstone National Park.

Four years ago, I began writing a story that, for whatever reason, was stuck in my head for almost a year. I have been an avid romance reader for a long time, and the idea took hold to - why not? - write my own!

It has been a long and difficult journey and learning experience from my first sentence to a completed, and hopefully polished, manuscript.

The story, titled Yellowstone Heart Song, is set in the Rocky Mountain region which today encompasses Yellowstone National Park. It takes place decades before the area was even known to white men, a time just after Lewis and Clark, before the mountain man era was in full swing.

The story has turned into the Yellowstone Romance Series, with five books and two novellas published.

Since the completion of the Yellowstone series, I've been writing another time travel romance series, called Second Chances, with three books completed to date.  I also completed a historical romance trilogy, called the Teton Romance Trilogy, which is set in the Grand Tetons and begins during the time of the Fur Trapper era.

I want to send a special thank you to all my readers. Thank you for taking the time to write reviews and to email me, leave messages on my blog, and find me on facebook. I wish I could thank each and every one of you personally. My email address can be found at the back of each of my books, and I will always make the time to respond. Thank you for making my journey as a writer such an awesome experience.
