ā€œSuch a fun read! A quirky, nerdy, shy girl and a sexy, hot alpha male.ā€Ā -Goodreads reviewer

There are three things you need to know about Janie Morris:1) She is incapable of engaging in a conversation without volunteering TMTI (Too Much Trivial Information), especially when she is unnerved, 2) No one unnerves her more than Quinn Sullivan, and 3) She doesn't know how to knit.

After losing her boyfriend, apartment, and job in the same day, Janie Morris can't help wondering what new torment fate has in store.

To her utter mortification, Quinn Sullivanā€”aka Sir McHotpantsā€”witnesses it all then keeps turning up like a pair of shoes you lust after but can't afford. The last thing she expects is for Quinn to make her an offer she can't refuse.

New York Times Bestselling Author Penny Reidā€™s debut novel!

Neanderthal Marries Human, Book #1.5 in the Knitting in the City Series

ā€œWhat an incredibly beautiful, sexy, swoony, smart and funny story about family, friends and love!ā€Ā - TJ Loves to Read Romance Book Blog

ā€œHOT, STEAMY AND SEXY!ā€Ā - Feeding My Addiction Book Reviews

There are three things you should know about Quinn Sullivan:Ā 1) He is madly in love with Janie Morris, 2) Heā€™s not above playing dirty to get what (or who) he wants, and 3) He doesnā€™t know how to knit.

After just five months of dating Janie, Quinnā€”former Wendell and unapologetic autocratā€”is ready to propose marriage. In fact, heā€™s more than ready. If it were up to Quinn, he would efficiently propose, marry, and beget Janie with child all in the same dayā€”thereby avoiding the drama and angst that accompanies the four stages of pre-matrimony: engagement, meeting the parents, bachelor/bachelorette party, and overblown, superfluous wedding day traditions.

But Janie, much to Quinnā€™s dismay, tosses a wrench in his efficacious endeavors and challenges him to prove his devotion by going through the matrimonial motions, no matter how minute and mundane.

Will Quinn last until the wedding day? Or will he yield to his tyrant impulses?

This book is not a standalone. It is the sequel to ā€˜Neanderthal Seeks Human,ā€™ and is book #1.5 in the Knitting in the City series.

I am SO HAPPY to find this book available again in regular size font. This is a supreme favorite of mine for a long time when, suddenly, I could only get it to come up on Google Play in very tiny script. My reaction was šŸ˜’šŸ˜¤šŸ˜¬ I love these characters. His quiet adoration and humorous reaction to her, love the strong silent but NOT surly dark character and her uncontrollable nervous reactions to him and the flood of nervous info she can't help but spew. Did anyone see North and South with Richard Armitage? if so, remember the ending scene where she is nervously explaining her actions and trying to be cool and business like and he sees through it and the expression on his face watching her? Yes, that is here. Love this story. Love. It. 9/5/23 Rereading again and am as far as pg 370+ give or take a couple pages... The whole ball of confusion of Janie with Elizabeth having the gathering to support Janie and Quinn showing up...skinheads too... friends fighting them all off! I'm dying laughing.šŸ„°
