I received this book for free from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily review this book. This is my honest review. At a time in history when the future of California was uncertain, the right to land hung in the balance. Tempt Me With Kisses is a well written, well researched tempestuous romance. In the midst of all the action, when those with an attitude of entitlement were driven by greed, Harmony and Daniel fought their attraction for one another with little success. As events unfold, misunderstandings arise and instead of being honest with one another, assumptions are made and reactions cause more harm than good. This is not a book that you can sit down and speed read, as it requires a great deal of concentration, just in case you miss something. The story line is exciting and engrossing, leaving the reader with feelings of angst, frustration and even anger. After reading No Sweeter Ecstasy, I was initially disappointed in Daniel's character, as he was incredible arrogant. However, as the story evolved, one wanted to shake him instead and make him see what was right in front of him, if he only took the time to discuss the problems besetting his relationship with Harmony. Tempt Me With Kisses is a deeply emotive story that is well worth spending time reading.
