I loved this continuation to Clay and Nova's emotional and sizzling love story. Nova is back in Denver after the Kodiak's owner hires her to paint a mural in their stadium. She hoped she could be in and out before running into Clay after he broke her heart. Clay hates what he did to Nova and he is determined to win her back. I really enjoyed the progression of their relationship. Lawson took her time to allow them to heal and grow stronger. I can't wait to find out what happens next!

I am really enjoying the relationship between Clay and Nova. Their relationship is messy, but I can't help but root for them. I liked that we got both of their points of views throughout the book. The book ended on a great cliffhanger. I can’t wait to dive into the next book in the series Play Maker so I can get more of their story. Lance and Carly did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

Well, I thought Game Changer had my emotions running wild, but Shot Taker takes it up a notch. Clay and Nova are so good together that you can't help but root for them. There's a magnetic pull between them that seems to keep pulling them back into each other's orbit. And then Piper Lawson wields her mighty pen and throws a twist at their HEA. So, I don't want to give too much away; just be prepared and keep in mind that there's a reason this is part of a trilogy.
