As a pupil of Dr. Sproul I must say this is his Opus Magnus. It is truly one of his finest works. In a age of books and videos by so call contemporary relevant Christian leaders and their self help, self worth, best life, and how to attain happiness. Dr Sproul in this book gives you a view of God from the Bible that does not show how we think of God but of what God thinks of himself which is the most perfect way go think of God - HOLY. Dr. Sproul is of a rare breed of great theologians ( John McArthur, Steven Lawson, Sinclair Ferguson, Alister Begg, Al Moler, RC Sproul JR, Ravi Zacharias, )

For anyone who has felt the nagging sense of disturbance of the transcendence of truth; you will find that truth is found in the Person of Jesus, the Christ and the Presence of Him; of the Holy God and come away with the reality of the reasons why there is a nagging and why you need to break through the barriers of natural limitations to discover the Holiness of God and why it's so crucially important.

This boo is very helpful in understanding some things pertaining to God in a way that may be other books forget about. What is significant is that you get the sense of the writer in their understanding that we have a Holy God.
