This is a tale that turns the usual romance trope on its head because in this story, Freya’s the one who’s not ready for a relationship with a gorgeous man who solves her problems. But Mark’s a domineering asshole (even if he’s gentle with his woman) and he doesn’t take no easily. Watch as sparks fly and the going gets hot because Freya’s in for a hard lesson up her backside that our hero is only too happy to deliver! This is a follow-up to Mouthful of Sin, but all of my books may be read as standalones. No cheating, no cliffhangers, and always a HEA for my readers.

When Freya finally gets pregnant the nausea is hard to handle until she comes up with a unique way to handle it! When Mark sees Freya in her garden distressed, he runs to help but when she tells him what she really needs he is floored but finally comes around to help. Will their unique relationship turn into something more one that leads to a happily ever after for both of them? This story drew me in and had me all caught up in it! I am volunteering to leave a review for an ARC of this book.

I found this to be quite an interesting steamy read. The plot was interesting for most part but I found my attention was wondering at times. But for most of the time I found it was an enjoyable read. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book for my honest opinion.

Freya worked at Valley Cryo until the feds shut them down. Freya has always wanted to be a mother so before the doors closed permanently she got inseminated with donated fluids and she got pregnant. Freya has been nauseous during her pregnancy and she has found out a way to control the nausea. Freya goes to secret sex parties and has backdoor sex and it helps with her nausea. Freya is very independent and wants to raise her child alone. Mark is a firefighter who lives next door to Freya.
