I'm still processing this book. It's such a menagerie of genres. Fantasy, magic and magical creatures, dystopia, parallel worlds..... This is a wild, twisting, constantly pounding out the adventure book. There's no time to catch your breath, here comes the onslaught again! It knocks our heroine unconscious but I couldn't sleep. I couldn't stop reading and finished it in one night (morning). I love this author and I love that she's a clean, family friendly, happy ending loving author. Normally I'm not a dystopia reader but this is an interesting mix from an author I trust to not kill off important characters. I'm in so bring on the next in the series.

Magis by Sam Cheever is a fantastic story that I have had the privilege to read. This is book number one in this fantastic series that I am so hooked on and I can not get enough of. I can not wait to read the rest of this fantastic series that i am so in love with. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about fantasy, magic and mysteries. Beginning of a New and Exciting Paranormal Cozy Series I loved this book and am excited to see where this series goes. This is a cozy paranormal series and like a few others of this author's series, has somewhat of a gentle sci-fi or fantasy air about it. If you enjoyed her 'Enchanting Inquiries' series, you will love this one, too. The story is novel-length which gives the reader enough detail to really immerse yourself in this new world. I can't wait for the next book! I received this ARC book for free from Booksprout and this is my honest review.
