About this ebook

The third installment of Scott Westerfeld’s New York Times bestselling and award-winning Uglies series—a global phenomenon that started the dystopian trend.

Tally thought they were a rumor, but now she’s one of them. A Special. A super-amped fighting machine, engineered to keep the uglies down and the pretties stupid.

But maybe being perfectly programmed with strength and focus isn’t better than anything she’s ever known. Tally still has memories of something else.

Still, it’s easy to tune that out—until she’s offered a chance to stamp out the rebels of the New Smoke permanently. It all comes down to one last choice: listen to that tiny, faint heartbeat, or carry out the mission she’s programmed to complete. Either way, Tally’s world will never be the same.

All the books were great but so.... wrong in parts. Some times I couldn't stop reading but then something would happen that made the story all wrong but I stuck with the books until the end! And I am amazed at how Scott was able to create all the futuristic stuff in the book. But over all it was very entertaining.(But not as good as harry Potter...sorry). 8>

I am loved this series and enjoyed reading the first two books but in this one I particularily hated how much Tally changed, I guess the author was trying to show how the brain damage changed her but personally i liked the rebelious side of Tally. But the worst part of this book was the end. I mean if you're going to change Tally keep her changed. I'm not sure I really liked that she kept going back and forth from loyal smokie to loyal special. But beside that I think the whole aspect of the book is really quite good. And since I am an easy judge I'll give it 3 stars

This was a REALLY good book, i loved it. Although, at the start, i was kind of unhappy about where the story was going w/ her being a special, i loved the ending. BRILLIANT:D absolutely brilliant. Reading extras, and i get excited everytime i read Tally's name.
