you maybe should research ranching more if you mean to write about it. Gestation is roughly 9 months, weaning happens give or take at 6 months. Most calves are branded while still nursing and cows are usually bred when calves are 3 months old to maintain a yearly calf crop.

nice easy short read, interesting characters,capable female rancher that just needs a hand/strong army boys with a plan. romance without steam. had to laugh about the leads being such organisers/ planners.. 'wait till you see my spreadsheets' - double entendre? read and find out. haha

Wow, was not expecting that. Loved the book. The characters pull you in then keeps you hanging onto words and emotions the author give them. Beautiful book.
