The fate of the Hotel LaBelle is on the line and hotel inspector Tallulah Thompson will the need the help of a powerful medicine woman to undo the curse on Lucius, the extremely annoyed innkeeper who is neither dead nor alive. This suspenseful romance that is set in a wonderfully historical inn with lots of Native American influence. Tallulah and Lucius are strong, captivating characters that easily draw readers into their story that is full of emotional turmoil and a relationship that has a major obstacle- the hero is in limbo. This keeps the romance on the sweet side as Tallulah struggles with her attraction to Lucius and wondering if she stands a chance against the past which readers can certainly understand. Lucius is charming and the way he sees things is quite charming and produces quite a few chuckles due to the fact that he has been bound to the inn. With the fate of Hotel LaBelle on the line, readers easily become caught up in the romance part of the story as well as the suspense of Lucius’ situation and the happenings of the man who is trying to claim the hotel as his own which causes quite a bit of trouble and excitement. The author created a wonderful setting for her series that has its own ambiance that fits this story perfectly and readers definitely want to read every last page of this intriguing romance.
