Just In Time is another great book by Rosalind James. This story centers around Will and Faith. Unlike the other books in the series, this book starts in the states and then moves on over to New Zealand. It also takes quite a bit of the story before they get together. But it unfolded naturally and beautifully. I really loved meeting Will's family, especially his sister. They are all going through a lot on their own and sometimes forget that the other person is hurting as well. It's really a great story about family. Another thing that was different in this book is that their is a story within the story. Faith is writing her own book and you see glimpses of that throughout the book. It was interesting to have it done that way. While that story was also entertaining, sometimes I found myself just wanting to get down with that and get back to Faith and Will. You don't have to have read the previous books in order to read this one as there are very few interactions with previous characters. Great read in time for summer! I received an ARC of Just In Time in exchange for an honest review.

JUST IN TIME by Rosalind James I cried when I thought that their whole love story was coming to a screaming halt, just because it leaked out and Will's reputation couldn't take any more. It was a lovely story with two stories, because Faith was a writer. It was beautiful. Favorite parts: 1. I'm not going to look down on women who do what they have to do to take care of themselves, or to take care of their kids. We're all just doing what we have to do to get by. 2. Men want women to be sexy. Then they look down on them for being sexy. Like if they're sexy, that's all they are. 3. "How wonderful is realism, though?" Lelei asked. "Real life is hard. Maybe it isn't in New Zealand, but here where I live, real life is bad bosses and car trouble and wondering whether your baby can wear those shoes for another month, because your January gas bill is going to be way too high. What's wrong with wanting to escape for a little while?" 4. "But the fantasy? Sure, it's a filthy-rich dude who's absolutely crazy about you, who can't imagine anything better than spending all Saturday morning in bed making delicious love to you, no matter who's playing in the ball game.

Because I adore every story Steena Holmes has written, this Boxed Set introduced me to ten authors with similar skills. I had yet to read stories by any of the other authors, so it was quite a treat. Steena’s novella “The Memory Journal” was included in this wonderful Set. This is the story of Diane and Charlie have a wonderful relationship as sisters, and they have always been there for one another. Dealing with tragedies together thickens their bond for one another. They lost their mother and younger brother when they were just children, and the reason for this loss is what drives this story, and what drives their fears. Charlie is a Pediatric Nurse working in the Congo for “Doctors without Borders” and she is called home when her sister needs her most. This story is magnificent set among the other authors. I still have to read Brenda Novak’s story, but I am very excited...I am saving some of this for the beach…that is what is great about this Set…you can read a bit here, and a bit there. I am going to wait to read Molly O’Keefe’s Christmas story….so, I can read it around the holidays. WHAT FUN THIS IS! Enjoy!!
