This is book 2 in a new series that's getting irresistible. I am not a fan of MC I am enjoying how well this is written. I have to admit I wanted to smack Rock a couple times, but hey, storyline. I love the strong women in this series and the premise is so intriguing. Is it happening in real life? Could it? Thank you Shirleen Davies and Booksprout. Rock and Tessa fight to overcome past hurts to find a future together as a family. The second in the Eternal Brethren series brings together a feisty independent female and tough strong male for an excellent tale. Looking forward to the next book.

While this is a standalone, reading the prior book gives you more insight into the Eternal Brethren and all it stands for. Rock and Tessa have history together but when she was injured she pushed him away now 2 years later she extends an olive branch as she feels something is missing in her life. Tessa wants more than a friendship and that’s all Rock is willing to give because he doesn’t believe in love...can these two find their way to a future together?? Action packed, suspense, car bombs, letting go of the past, twists, turns and maybe finding their HEA...
