I haven’t read any other books in the series but this book packed a lot of action into a quick, enjoyable read. An alien Viking-like hero abducts an Earth woman and action moves forward from there! The characters are well drawn and motivated; the dialogue is realistic. If you like alien abduction/fated mate stories where no one is harmed, this story is for you! I received an ARC with no obligation and this is my honest review.

I really enjoyed Njal and Steff's love story. I loved how Steff was a strong and independent female character and Njal found that very sexy and exciting. I also liked how the story was more of a kidnapping love story and not similar to the other 'Hot Totties' stories. After reading this story, I can't wait to read Errik and Rune's stories next. This was a really good read!. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

It started with a very sad moment which inspired Njal and his crew to seek out mates to keep their people alive. Due to their heritage, Njal abducts Steff for information not knowing she is his mate. It's an interesting back and forth with Steff and the Albayans vs. Njal and his crew but it results in new possibilities for them. It is confirmed Steff and Njal are mates. I really liked how Steff made an impression on Njal.
