The stunning conclusion to the riveting Gregor the Overlander series by bestselling author Suzanne Collins.

Everyone in the Underland has been taking great pains to keep The Prophecy of Time from Gregor. Gregor knows it must say something awful but he never imagined just how awful: It calls for the warrior's death. Now, with an army of rats approaching, and his mom and sister still in Regalia, Gregor the warrior must gather up his courage to help defend Regalia and get his family home safely. The entire existence of the Underland is in Gregor's hands, and time is running out. There is a code to be cracked, a mysterious new princess, Gregor's burgeoning dark side, and a war to end all wars. This is the thrilling conclusion to Suzanne Collins's New York Times bestselling middle grade series.

I love this series, well written and created a whole new world! But this ending! Sit back down and actually look what you gave us! No answers what so freaking ever! But oh look! Boots can say 'Gregor' now! Big wool! Are they moving to Virginia? Is this the tragic end between Luxa and Gregor? And really! Was it necessary to kill Ares! The coolest bat in the book.... Ugh I demand more

I love this book and series. Every single book in this series is better than the hunger Games ever could be. But this book absolutely destroyed mwh. I think suzanne is both bad at conclusions, and really loves tragic character deaths. I'm sorry, You CANNOT spend 4 books making me absolutely inlove with a character to the point where they become my secoond favorite of all literature, and then do THROUGH to me. Why Suzanne, WHY!? Also the ending afterword isn't all that great, he just, makes plans to move away. A lot of loose ends. But still heart stoppingly good.

The Underland cronicles are by far my favorite book series. And this book was the perfect ending. The way the characters have grown is amazing. I would love a sixth book, perhaps having Luxa or Mareth come to the overland (a couple years later) looking for Gregor to help with some problem in the underland. (Suzanne Collins could proably come up with a better story). This book is the best, but I really liked the 4th because they weren't really following a prophecy, and that's what I would want the 6th to be like that too.
